In urma intalnirii, acesta a anulat, cel putin pentru moment, aruncarea noastra chiar si din strada (Dumnezeu stie unde!).
The last time I wrote here we were desperate about being evicted from the streets too. We were looking for solution everywhere. I started to give phone calls to everybody I knew and to beg for a solution for the camp. I was really disappointed and scared because people were waiting a solution from me. I watched the people, the children from the camp how they hoped for me to come with yet another salvation. And than..God..
With His mercy, he helped us through the NGOs that support us. They succeeded in talking and obtaining an audience with the new mayor, Stefanel. As a consequence, he postponed, at least for the moment, our eviction from the street. We even succeeded in obtaining a meeting with him, but unfortunately something came in and he didn’t make it. But we talked with the head of his cabinet, a person who seemed really warm and friendly. He was a person who listened to us carefully and who showed mercy for our situation. He kept on wondering why the local councilors don’t know in details our case. He told us that somewhere the communication just did not flow and that he will establish a meeting with Carmen Ivanoiu and the representatives of the Vulturilor.
Despre aceasta intrevedere, intr-o alta postare.
But this meeting never took place. Stefanel is no longer the mayor of Bucharest. But he did what he promised – he discussed with Carmen Ivanoiu. We found out about this and now we, the people from Vulturilor, would like to thank him. It is for the first time that we met good people, willingly to help us among the administration. Now we have to start all over again and to try to find a way to talk with the new mayor. All these people that come and go make it really difficult for us to solve our problem. I understand that it is politics, but before being politicians, these people have to help their citizens. I strongly hope that the new mayor will have de wisdom to see how helpless we are. Although it is very difficult for me to hope, I still have to trust the new mayor.
Note: Since the writing of this text and its publishing here, we managed to meet the new mayor. But about this in another post.
