Locuiam împreună cu bunica din partea tatălui meu când mama a primit casa din Vulturilor, 50. Locuința a primit-o de la locul de muncă de atunci, de la sticlăria “STITECX”. În anul 1997 ne-am mutat în această casă. După câteva luni, mama s-a dus să o cumpere de la ICRAL, dar acolo a aflat că această casă este în litigiu și că nu o poate cumpăra.

I lived with my paternal grandmother when the place we lived in Vulturilor 50 was assigned to my mother on behalf of STITECX, the glassware factory where she was working at the time. We moved here in 1997. After a few months my mother wanted to buy the house from ICRAL [1] but she was told that it is in litigation and therefore cannot be bought [2].

În anul 2002 a venit proprietarul care a revendicat nu doar casa părinților mei, ci întreaga stradă Vulturilor de la nr. 50. La această adresă sunt 27 de locuințe, construcția fiind numită “han”. În 2002 acel proprietar ne-a făcut contracte de chirie pe cinci ani până în 2007. În tot acest timp, noi am plătit chirie, lumină, apă și restul utilităților. După ce aceste contracte au expirat, în 2007, acest proprietar, Harșa Călin Ionuț, a vândut în leasing unei firme norvegiene, cu tot cu locuitori (noi, cei care încă locuiam acolo). Am fost lăsați să locuim aici până când înțelegerea dintre Harșa Călin Ionuț și firma norvegiană era încheiată. Pe 15 septembrie 2014 au venit aici, împreună cu Poliția Locală, Jandarmeria Română, 8-10 dube pentru a ne evacua.

In 2002 came the owner who claimed not only my parents’ house, but the whole building complex in Vulturilor 50 which comprises 27 housing units and it’s called “The Inn”. The owner agreed to lease us the place for 5 years until 2007. During this time, we paid the rent as well as utilities such water and electricity. After our lease contract expired in 2007, the owner, Harsa Calin Ionut, sold the building to a Norwegian company but we continued to live there. We were allowed to live there until Harsa Calin Ionut and the Norwegian company settled the deal. On the 15th of September 2014, the new owners together with 8-10 vans of the local police and Romanian Gendarmerie came to evict us.
