Bună, vă scriu din nou. De data aceasta să vă povestesc cine sunt persoanele care ne ajută, cine sunt aceia care suferă alături de noi, cei care de fiecare data ne-au apărat, ne-au sprijinit și care ne-au înțeles și au plâns odată cu noi. Iar pentru noi, cei din comunitatea din Vulturilor, acești oameni valorează mult.

Au însemnat mult atunci când nu aveam pe ce dormi, când nu aveam cu ce să ne învelim, când dormeam sub cerul liber. Ei au fost alături de noi când ploaia, frigul și zăpada..ne loveau. Nu o sa dau nume, sunt foarte mulți, chiar foarte mulți. Și tuturor le suntem recunoscători. Și organizațiile non-guvernamentale au fost multe. Au fost alături de noi la proteste, în stradă..Acești oameni, de aproximativ 3 luni, ne dau pături, saltele, corturi, haine, o masă caldă în fiecare seară, un ceai cald. Ne-au ajutat cu diferite acte. Au fost cu noi când poliția ne-a bătut pe unii dintre noi, din păcate. Nu o să dau nume, pentru că recunosc că nu îi știu pe toți. Sunt oameni străini (până acum) care au venit și ne-au dat o masă caldă. Acești oameni au făcut și fac lucruri pe care autoritățile române ar fi trebuit să le facă.

Tot ce am primit de la autorități au fost refuzuri. De la Oprescu, Negoiță… oferte cum ar fi șase luni bani de chirie, dar după fără vreo siguranță că am primi bani sau locuințe. O altă ofertă a fost ca femeile și copiii minori să meargă la centrul pentru mame maltratate, iar bărbații împreună cu cei de vârsta de 17, 18, 20 de ani să meargă la adăpostul “Rondul de noapte” suficient cât să trecem prin iarnă. Iar apoi, fiecare pe cont propriu. Am primit și amenințări: dacă nu plecăm din stradă, vor veni să ne ia copiii minori. Toate aceste oferte și amenințări nu ne-au făcut decât să ne unească și mai mult.

Hello, I am writing again. This time I want to tell you about the people who are helping us, who are suffering along with us, the people who offered their support and their protection every time we needed it. People who cried with us and who understand our suffering. For us, the community from Vulturilor, these people mean the world these days.

They were extremely important to us when we had no bed to sleep in, when we had no blanket to cover during the night, when we slept under the sky, with no roof over our heads. They were there for us when the rain, the cold, the snow were our enemies. I will not give you names because they are too many to count. I want them to know that we are very grateful. We had plenty of NGOs with us too, NGOs that were with us on the street, during the protests and to the public institutions. For approximately 3 months, these people and NGOs have given us blankets, mattresses, tents, clothes, a warm meal a day, a warm tea. They helped us with our official documents. They were with us when the police beat some of us. I will not give their names because, I admit, I do not know everybody. Until now, these people were strangers who came and fed us a hot meal. These people do the things that the public authorities should have done instead.

All we received from the authorities were refuses. Oprescu and Negoiță…offered to give us money to pay our rent for six months, with no assurance that we are to be supported after this period of time (whether with money or a place to live). Another offer was for the women and children to go to the center for the ill-treated women while the men and the people over the age of 17, 18, 20 to go to a different shelter. And this offer is only for the winter period. We also had our share of threats: if we refused to leave the street, they would come to take our children away. All their offers and threats only made us even more united.
